Sand Dune Arch (Photo Gallery - Arches National Park)

My Photos of Sand Dune Arch - January 1, 2010
Sand Dune Arch is a very accessible arch as it is a mere 0.2 miles off of the main road. The parking area for Sand Dune Arch is clearly marked and located north of the Fiery Furnace. Nearby on the trail is a spur that leads to Broken Arch, which is only 0.4 miles to the north.

Now it was very cold on the day of my visit, January 1, 2010. In fact, snow covered much of the terrain. The trees and bushes inside the red rock walls of this arch were so pretty!

There it is ... Sand Dune Arch. I stood underneath to provide perspective on its size.
Sand Dune Arch
Another photo of Sand Dune Arch. This attraction ranks behind many others among "must see" arches in Arches National Park, but its position within large fins and proximity to the main road make it well-visited.
