Delicate Arch Upper Viewpoint January 1, 2010 - After hiking the Park Avenue Trail and visiting Sand Dune Arch and Broken Arch, I ventured toward Delicate Arch. In previous visits, I had always taken the standard route (Delicate Arch Trail) which brings a person in close proximity to the point one can stand during under the arch. This time, I wanted to photograph the view of Delicate Arch from the upper and lower viewpoints farther down the canyon. Adjacent are two snowy Utah desert photos during my walk to the upper viewpoint.
